How Romero Distributing began…

Clarence Romero opened Romero Distributing in 1986. After serving in Vietnam, the father of four (now grandfather) has built his business from the ground up through hard work and determination. Born and raised in Barstow California, Clarence and his wife Linda raised their family in beautiful Santa Barbara California. With the support of his family by his side, Clarence provided his dairy distribution services to restaurants, schools, markets and more around the city of Santa Barbara. Supporting his community Clarence has taken part in school ice cream sales, AYSO and Goleta South Little League, and other fundraisers representing Romero Distributing. Now retired, Clarence still wakes up early to have coffee with costumers he previously delivered to. Being passionate about his work, Clarence even takes out time to join his grandson on the route because he just can’t stay away after 32 years on the job.

Romero to Romero.

After retiring in 2023 Clarence passed his business down to his grandson Shea Romero. Shea has been assisting his Papa Clarence on the route for as long as he can remember. His years of hard work payed off, and Shea now proudly runs Romero Distributing. Following in his families footsteps, Shea is a Bishop Diego graduate class of 2021. When not working hard on the milk route, he may be found golfing and spending time with his dogs as well as his wonderful girlfriend Marynicole. Shea is very proud to be carrying on the Romero Distributing legacy and plans on expanding Romero Distributing.
